4. Florida commit Anthony Richardson of Gainesville (Fla.) Eastside has been a pleasant surprise through three days of competition for the quarterbacks. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Richardson looked to run an impressive forty during combine testing on Monday, which was expected from the uber athletic prospect. However, what he has shown throwing the ball is what has impressed. Richardson once again threw several on target passes, including an impressive corner route to his left side. Richardson capped Monday’s session with a camp-best 68.5 yard throw in the long toss competition.
6'4 225 with a good 40 time and a big arm is a Mullen QB if I've ever heard one, it sounds like he's going to shoot up the rankings this year.
“I think there are some key components for our football team that aren't playing for us right now. And we're very thin in some areas. And it is what it is. I'm not making excuses, that's just the facts, and it's real. I think we've got a good staff and I think that we've got a really good football team. They're fighting their butt off this Saturday, first of all, and heading into spring. And I'm excited about that. I'm excited about this Saturday and our guys getting out and competing again."
