Here's the thing. Kirby Smart just got out-coached by Big Dumb Will Muschamp (BDWM). Let that sink in for a minute while you contemplate the fact that BDWM tried his hardest to lose that game. Kirby Smart is a recruiter and a damn good one. But his coaching makes every game a possible L for the ole puppies. Things are looking up.

If we had to lose that LSU game, we needed Georgia to drop one -- and to have it be to an unranked team coached by the excitable meathead is just icing on the cake. Atlanta is still a possibility if we use this loss to get our shit together.
Honestly, I think the Gators played great for three quarters. The defense actually let us down a bit. We could have won that game, but LSU must have wanted it more. Hopefully we will use this the same way the 2008 team used the loss to Ole Miss.
I watched the last 3 quarters and overtime. Worst coached game on both sides I’ve ever seen, and we were subjected to 7 years of coach boo and mcgoober

“I think there are some key components for our football team that aren't playing for us right now. And we're very thin in some areas. And it is what it is. I'm not making excuses, that's just the facts, and it's real. I think we've got a good staff and I think that we've got a really good football team. They're fighting their butt off this Saturday, first of all, and heading into spring. And I'm excited about that. I'm excited about this Saturday and our guys getting out and competing again."

Yeah, it could be argued that Kirby lost the game for Georgia by calling that timeout, which gave South Carolina a chance to get their act together on what surely would have resulted in a delay of game or worse.
