The paring down of the 2020 season has already begun.
If other conferences follow suit, I wonder what this means for schools like Notre Dame and Brigham Young, who don't have conference affiliations. ND plays six ACC games this season, but they are not a full member of the ACC in football. The Irish have already lost four games from their 2020 schedule, Big Ten opponent Wisconsin, USC and Stanford from the Pac-12, plus the Navy game in Dublin. This will be the first time since World War II that Notre Dame and USC have not met in a rivalry that began in 1926. BYU has lost an even bigger chunk of their schedule. They had games scheduled against Utah, Michigan State, Arizona State, Minnesota and Stanford.
