We have five receivers out for the FSU game, including Anthony Richardson's two favorite targets. Richardson taking off as part of a balanced attack is dangerous. Richardson taking off because we can't generate offense any other way is a recipe for a rout. Florida rules out 5 WRs, including Shorter, Henderson, for FSU

What the hell happened to Whittemore or whatever his name is? Is he hurt or something. He has been invisible this season.

What the hell happened to Whittemore or whatever his name is? Is he hurt or something. He has been invisible this season. Trent Whittemore has played in four games (Kentucky, South Florida, Tennessee and Eastern Washington), catching a total of four passes in three of them. I can't find any news on him. Yeah he’s gone and his little brother decommitted. Wish him them the best of luck and hopefully we recruit at a level where they won’t be missed.

They need to design runs for him. None of this “he has the option to run on every play” bullshit. That feeds into the uninformed although possibly well intentioned segment of the fan base blaming AR who has the physical upside to run away with the heisman and be the 1/1 pick in 2023 for a loss after he went 25/42 for 400 yards with 7 (SEVEN) drops including one that led to his first interception in 4+ games. He was far from perfect but he’s also roughly where a kid like arch manning/Trevor Lawrence are as juniors in high school from a coaching perspective because he was a low 4 star and then Dan Mullen was dreaming of riding mcgoobers players to nfl superstardom.
I’ve seen things in comments on SDS saying “he will lose his starting job by the midpoint of next season.” If Anthony richardson comes back (huge if given that he’s thrown the ball better and is projected in the 1st round most places AND he could see himself as a scapegoat based on some media etc) and loses his job to kitna or miller it will be a major indictment of the coach staff.
About to park and see what happens. I try not to be a prisoner of the moment, but with some questionable in-game decisions, consistent struggles on defense with the same issues, and some very mediocre (to be kind) gameplans, I really think this is a pretty big deal. Not a must win by any means, but we need to show up.
