No "We need to learn how to finish". No throwing assistants under the bus. No calling out players for making mistakes. No vague "We will get it fixed." This is a refreshing change. "When the students don't perform as well as you want them to, I think, as a coach and as a teacher, you've got to take a good look in the mirror," Napier said. "I think that's exactly what I'm going to do, what our staff's going to do."
Taking ownership. Ownership over the mistakes, ownership over the miscommunications and ownership over the improvement that Florida needs to make, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
"I think when you are in a leadership position and things are not going the way they should go or you want them to go, you've got to take ownership of that," Napier reiterated.Napier Takes Ownership, Stresses Same to His TeamThis is what leaders do. When I was in upper management and a problem came up, I looked at our processes - our training, our preparation, our forms, everything. Looking for a scapegoat wasn't on my radar. Blaming an individual does no good when the process needs improvement.

Love his leadership style from what I’ve read and the post game pressers. I think this guy is gonna win some games for us.

Looking for a scapegoat wasn't on my radar. Blaming an individual does no good when the process needs improvement. I worked for a company that had lots of very manual processes for retyping information from one computer system to another. When a mistake was made, the "process" was to yell at the person who mis-typed the data. Throw the little gal under the bus and never look at your management or your processes. SMDH. Glad CBN gets it.

Yeah but will he show up in costume around Halloween and be a condescending douchebag? Actually, if he shows up in a Dan Mullen costume and starts patronizing reporters and quoting the most random stats possible we should build the guy a fucking statue.
