Florida 29, Tennessee 16 - After the Vols scored first to lead 7-0, the Gators scored 26 unanswered points. Trevor Etienne rushed for 172 yards and a touchdown. Graham Mertz was 14/19 for 166 yards and a touchdown.
LSU 41, Mississippi State 14 - It was 28-7 at the half and no contest. The Bulldogs had 201 yards of total offense while surrendering 530.
Missouri 30, Kansas State 27 - A rally in the fourth quarter brought the Tigers back from a 24-17 deficit, giving them a 27-24 lead. After the Wildcats tied the game at 27, Mizzou won it on a 61-yard field goal on the final play. Remembering how bad that K-State once was, it is amazing to see fans storming the field after beating them.
Alabama 17, South Florida 3 - Tied 3-3 at the half. The lowest number of points scored by Alabama against an unranked opponent since 2014. Nick Saban has reopened the quarterback competition. Alabama has yet to score a touchdown in the first half. Wrap your head around that.
Georgia 24, South Carolina 14 - The Gamecocks led 14-3 at the half. Whatever was said in the Georgia locker room worked. The Gamecocks turned the ball over twice.
Ole Miss 48, Georgia Tech 23 - Low scoring game in the first half, with Ole Miss leading 10-3 at the break. The Rebels scored 24 points in the fourth quarter.

UNLV 40, Vanderbilt 37 - Entertaining game that went back and forth. The Commodores led 17-0 in the first half, then the Rebels scored 20 points in the second quarter to lead 20-17 at the half. UNLV pushed the lead to 30-17, then the Commodores tied the game at 30. After UNLV took a 37-30 lead, Vandy tied the game on a 37-yard touchdown pass with 1:12 remaining. UNLV won on a 36-yard field goal with five seconds remaining.
Brigham Young 38, Arkansas 31 - After leading 24-21 at the half, the Razorbacks only scored seven points in the second half. They led 31-21 in the third quarter but were shut out the rest of the way while the Cougars scored 17 points.

National games
Maryland 42, Virginia 14 - In one of the oddest score lines I have seen in a while, Virginia scored the first 14 points of the game in the first quarter, and then didn't score again as their opponent put up six touchdowns. Perhaps an omen came late in the first quarter, immediately after the Cavaliers scored their second touchdown. The Terrapins returned the ensuing kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown. It was 14-14 at the half, then 21-14 Maryland after three quarters before the Terps blew it open 21-0 in the fourth. UVa turned the ball over four times, which didn't help.
Army 37, Texas-San Antonio 29 - The Black Knights took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. The Roadrunners eventually got back to within 23-21, but then Army scored the next 14 points across the third and fourth quarters. Army had 188 yards passing, which is a bit of a surprise.
South Alabama 33, Oklahoma State 7 - The Cowboys were held to 208 yards total offense. Two turnovers didn't help.
Ohio 10, Iowa State 7 - A scoreless first half followed by a half in which the Cyclones didn't score until 4:15 left in the game and already trailing 10-0. ISU had 38 yards rushing.
Miami (OH) 31, Cincinnati 24, OT - The Redhawks scored a touchdown for the only points of overtime after tying the game at 24 on a 20-yard field goal with 5:10 remaining.
Florida State 31, Boston College 29 - The Seminoles almost let this one get away after taking a 31-10 lead in the third quarter. The Eagles were penalized a school record 18 times.
Wake Forest 27, Old Dominion 24 - The Demon Deacons trailed 17-0 at the half. After the Monarchs scored to make it 24-7 with seven minutes remaining in the third quarter, it was all Wake.
Sacramento State 30, Stanford 23 - So how bad are the Cardinal? The Hornets are a good team - in FCS. Stanford had 207 yards total offense. Stanford led 14-3 in the second quarter, then it all fell apart.
Kansas 31, Nevada 24 - The Wolf Pack were a 28-point underdog at home. This game was 24-24 in the fourth quarter until the Jayhawks scored on a three yard run with 6:24 remaining. Nevada was competitive throughout despite being outgained by almost 200 yards.
