Any of those 5 would be a clear step up, IF CBN lets them run the offense. Remember Will Muschamp?

Based off that list my thoughts are this.
(!)Ryan Grubb, I dont see it happening. As the article speaks about hes been with KDeBoer his whole career. West Coast guy and makes $2 mill a year already. Probably just rides his time at Wash till a HC gig from a quality program comes around.
(2)Jeff Lebby, I dont see it. BVenables is a Defensive HC and needs Lebby more than Napier would (in Napiers mind lol) and OU has the money to increase his $1.9 mill salary. His style also does not mesh with what Napier would hire/approve of.
(3) Jeff Scott, A better fit with Napier than everyone on this list however hes a Clemson alumni and went back to Clemson after being fired from USF. I dont see him leaving Clemson anytime soon.
(4) Warren Ruggiero, Runs the kind of offense Napier would approve and runs an offense better than Napier. In my mind he'd be the chalk out of these 5 OCs. Probably would leave WF for a pay raise and the oppurtunity to not only be in the SEC, but at a program that actually can land elite talent.
(5) Ben Arbuckle, Like Lebby he runs a high octane passing offense that Napier doesn't believe in. Being hes a TX guy and coached some years at Western KY i could see him being interested in the Fla gig, but i dont think Napier would be as interested in him.
And then theres the Wildcard of Russ Callaway. I just have this feeling Napier is going to promote Callaway to OC. Im not against RCallaway but he wouldnt be my first choice.

Grubb isn't leaving Washington just as they are becoming nationally relevant. Ditto Libby at Oklahoma, who just knocked off Texas to move into the top ten. I could possibly see any of the other three.

I don't think he'll hire anyone or he'll promote Callaway which is essentially not hiring anyone. I mean look at this resume: RUSS CALLAWAY COACHING HISTORY Year School, Position 2023 Florida, Tight Ends 2022 Florida, Defensive Intern 2021 New York Giants, Offensive Assistant 2020 LSU, Senior Offensive Assistant and Analyst 2018-19 Samford, Offensive Coordinator / Quarterbacks 2016-17 Samford, Offensive Coordinator / Quarterbacks / WR 2015 Samford, Wide Receivers / Pass Game Coordinator 2014-13 Murray State, Wide Receivers / Recruiting Coordinator 2011-12 Alabama, Defensive Analyst That's a joke. Which is exactly why he'll promote him if he does anything. He's clearly terrified of hiring someone who can replace him. Maybe goes back to seeing Dabo replace Bowden? Look at our coaching staff: floridagators.com/sports/football/coachesThe only guy on there with legit coordinator experience is Austin Armstrong and he was born in 1993 and did 2 years at Southern Miss. My understanding is that RDB has the biggest support staff budget in the country, at least that's the company line. We don't have an OC, QB coach, or special teams coach, and that staff is a laughably under qualified for the University of Florida much less UF with the biggest budget in the country. They'd be the best in the Sunbelt though and since that's our model good job.
