Des needs to transfer to a wrestling school. He could be a force in the middle of the mat on all fours. Just never move and make the other guy come to him.

Many wrestlers weigh as much as 150 kilograms (330 pounds). In order to become this big, the average sumo wrestler eats up to 20,000 calories per day - about 10 times what an average adult needs!

And like clockwork I keep seeing the "Desmond Watson played his best game of the season!" One place said he had several key run stops. He had 2 tackles and one was the sack but I guess they figure at his size he has gravitational pull that causes people to fall down? Unbelievable.
Seriously though he is emblematic of the state of the program. Kids comes in as a project who needs to lose weight. He gains weight. Because of bad coaching and recruiting sees the field. Plays terribly. Told to lose weight. Gains weight. Plays some more. When recruits roll in and see that guy playing what message does that send? What message does it send to the younger guys? What about a guy like Damien George who basically was asked to leave Alabama because he couldn't cut it (in large part due to weight issues)?

...I guess they figure at his size he has gravitational pull that causes people to fall down? That has to be the quote of the year. Well played.
