They're from Lousiana so lookout, although most of those guys weren't there when Sunbelt Billy was kicking ass as a Ragin Cajun.

I never liked Brian Kelly. He was at Notre Dame, always starting in the top ten and never taking advantage. The one year they made the playoffs, they didn't look like they belonged. Then there was the jump to LSU and the faux Cajun speech. Blech.
But he's winning at LSU, 10 wins a season. Who here wouldn't commit a felony to see that at UF right now? OK, OK, at least a misdemeanor though. And now he identifies his weakness, the defense, and cleans house. Not sure what happened with Matt House, I thought he was a pretty good coach but the stats don't show that for last year. Anyway, Kelly moved on, which is what I would expect a good coach to do. I still don't like him really, but 10 wins isn't enough for him and he's doing something about it that seems somewhat logical.
Now where's that list of felonies & misdemeanors? I need to pick something.

I don’t like Brian Kelly at all but I don’t have to like a coach. I need a coach that wins. Not winning AND being hard to like is really tough for me to overcome though.

RG I'll go farther and say I actively dislike Brian Kelly and not just because he killed a guy: bleacherreport.com/articles/508658-notre-dame-time-for-kelly-to-go-following-death-of-studentHe is a better coach than Cajun Willie, always has been, at Notre Dame he was forced to adjust his staff to keep his job. He appears to have learned from that. CWT does not learn, he's every bit as stubborn as Dan Mullen and has even less reason to be. It is a truly odd phenomenon.

I don't understand why Napier is so convinced that what he is doing is working. Our special teams, defense and offensive line are horrible. Our best players on both sides of the ball have transferred to other SEC schools, half of his last recruiting class also hit the transfer portal, and the offensive play calling sucks. There is such a paucity of talent on the coaching staff that I don't know who will take over the program when (not if) CWT is fired before the end of the season.
