I didn't like this when I saw it, but I saw this both ways. Sideline dude (graduate assistant?) was trying to get him to cool off for 1 second before doing back in. Tre was having none of it. Is this like slapping away the hand of a coach? No, not even close. It's not like throwing a shoe that would tank the game against LSU and end the Gators playoff hopes.

Agree. It wasn't the best look, but it was far from the worst. I think Wilson giving a damn and showing some fight while not getting a penalty is the least of our problems. We absolutely have a discipline problem on this team but that's not an example. Titties McJiggles and his Muschampian weight gain over the course of the season showing off his 6 inch vertical to chest bump guys in the first quarter begets 3 crucial personal fouls and 2 ejections (which should have been 4 and 3 respectively) is much more emblematic of a lack of on-field discipline and maturity. In terms of off-field discipline and accountability I give you one Desmond Watson. There are others playing at 30-50 lbs. overweight but Des is the only one carrying a legit 100 lbs. of bullshit weight.

I suppose it's far too late for the coaches to tell Des, with a straight face, that he can't play because they're worried about his health (worried he might die). BECAUSE THEY NEVER HAVE BEFORE!

I suppose it's far too late for the coaches to tell Des, with a straight face, that he can't play because they're worried about his health (worried he might die). BECAUSE THEY NEVER HAVE BEFORE! Naw, Big Des has figured it out: “I’ve dropped weight and picked weight back up basically the whole time,” Watson said on balancing his weight loss. “It’s more of me getting to a certain weight and getting complacent and not focusing on it throughout the whole time. So I feel like that’s the biggest thing, just staying on course.” www.gatorcountry.com/feature/desmond-watson-looking-for-sustainability-in-2023/That article was written on April 12. Sounds promising. Let's see where he's at heading into the season: "Unfortunately for Watson, despite rumors swirling of him shedding the excess weight earlier this offseason, he's been unable to achieve the weight benchmark set by the staff last offseason thus far. Instead, the Plant City (Fla.) native returned to campus weighing 439 pounds prior to fall camp. It's the heaviest he's begun a season, trending in the wrong direction after weighing in at 415 a year ago." www.si.com/college/florida/football/florida-gators-football-mark-hocke-chip-away-desmond-watsonLMAO at the title of that article, chipping away is not gaining weight over and over and over again. That's the opposite of chipping away.

LMAO at the title of that article, chipping away is not gaining weight over and over and over again. That's the opposite of chipping away. Not at all. You just misunderstand what he is chipping away at. He was referring to the dinner table - all of it.
