Yes, this is basketball, but everyone will see it here. We have a group on ESPN. You can sign up here. The password is DeltaDumbassDuo (thanks Taps).

I’m in. Shout out to Stetson University. It’s my hometown so a group of us are meeting up to have a few beers and watch the game. Hopefully they can keep it respectable and not get blown out.

I'm in. Of course I spent about as much time on it as I do anything I post online. Gotta go!

Stetson got demolished as we expected but it was fun. Proud of those kids.

Right out of the chute I was tied for first. Now, tied for second, which is also tied for second-to-the-last. I expect my bracket to progress in a manner similar to Coach Billy's UF football tenure. Probably worse.
Gators had a helluva game yesterday, in terms of overall excitement. We really could have used the big guy in the middle, but that happened. Either way, I wasn't expecting anything more than 1 win and done. Not making it out of the first round was a little surprise, but Coach Boyle at Colorado is a good coach and had his guys ready. Gators out, Auburn out, Kentucky out, Miss State out, USCe out. 3 SEC teams left.
Go Gators! Get 'em next year.

This is pretty typical for me. The upsets that I was reasonably sure about didn't happen, and the ones that I decided not to pull the trigger on happened. I literally had Oakland over Kentucky, and right at the end I thought, no, I can't do it. Bought off on McNeese, and they got crushed.

Wow, surf came down to earth and left me in first place. I feel like Billy Napier after beating Utah on a last second INT in his first game - it's all movin' up from here!!!

You're killing it, Rock. You are burying everyone.

You're killing it, Rock. You are burying everyone. Total luck, but also fantastic ROI. The time I spent on that was miniscule. But also, I'm pretty sure it comes down to Purdue and UConn. If Purdue wins, it's Surf. If UConn wins, it's me. If Bama or NC State wins, I have no idea. RG

I tried to predict upsets and failed miserably. The ones that I passed on happened, and the ones that I picked didn't.

Well, I did it I guess. I'm the champion picker of all the pickers (all 5-6 of us).
Of course I didn't stay up until tomorrow to watch the game - ridiculous that they put a national championship game in such an inaccessible timeslot. They lost a *ton* of non Purdue & UConn fans, solely because of the start time. Sure, those two teams fan bases stayed up for it, but not a lot of others. I don't understand it, I thought that they wanted *more* people watching, not fewer. ?

The assumption was that they were trying to achieve a prime time start on the west coast (the land of the 9 AM college football kickoff).

Seems odd for two Eastern Time Zone teams, but I suppose they set that time before the tournament started. Is the west coast more populated than the east coast?

No, but if you start at, say, 7 PM Eastern, people in major west coast cities will be at work for another hour, since it's only 4 PM. You lose audiences in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Portland, Seattle, etc.
