x.com/vegasbedwards/status/1787200015603048545:2024 lines via DraftKings for the Florida Gators: +2 vs Miami +4 vs Texas A&M +11 at Tennessee (UF's richest 'dog spot vs Vols since at least the 1980s, possibly the '70s.) +22 vs Georgia +5.5 vs LSU +6.5 vs Ole Miss +13.5 at FSU "These are the times that try men's souls." Vegas is behind as usual, they must not have heard that we have Rob Roberts acting as the coach of the coaches on the Defensive side of the ball and the #7 overall class (as long as you don't account for the first round talents that left) in the country with Russ Callaway taking some ownership of the offensive things and a GM type person and a whole department devoted to special teams/game changing and Tyler the Intern running the S&C program.

Are you talking about Rob Roberts? He jumped off the Empire State Building this one time and he only sprained his ankle.
Yeah, Vegas is dumb and clearly has not yet received the news of Mertz' unfinished business. My hope is that the money line doesn't drastically swing once bets come pouring in on the Gators' side before my second mortgage check posts to my bank account to wager.

I will admit the TN line jumped out at me considering the history and that we just beat them convincingly last year. Then I remembered that we were at home, played our best game of the year, took a 26-7 lead into halftime and only scored three points the rest of the way. Etienne also rushed for more yards than Mertz threw for.

I have it on good authority that our RB room is better without Etienne.

That was actually his second jump, on the first one Tyler the intern (Wasn't Brad Pitt character in fight club named Tyler? If he wasn't he should have been edit: he was! that's a deal there brother) caught him and threw him back to the top with one hand, the only reason he got hurt the second time is that Tyler was saving a bus full of orphans and nuns, dipping the whole time. Yeah, that one and the 5.5 home dog to Texas A&M with a new coach are probably the most telling. The Swamp is still a 3-4 point swing (down from 5.5-6.5 when we had real coaches), so that means that Vegas believes that in one offseason with one of the biggest wave of portal exits including a projected top 5 pick Mike Elko is @ 9 points better than Napier. That's telling. Another decent barometer is Super Mario the dummy head because he's been at Miami the same amount of time with similar resources. He has been a colossal failure so far and is on the (imaginary) hot seat, and Vegas thinks he's 5-6 point better than CWT. Somehow CWT's seat is cooler, that may be the biggest indicator of how far the Gator program has fallen. I have it on good authority that our RB room is better without Etienne. Yep, markedly better. Etienne was taking plays off against Tennessee and his blocking was trash. That's why he got 8, 11, 7, and 9 carries over the next 4 games. I call that coaching em up.
