Richardson facial expressions really turn me off. Really a big pouter when things not going his way.

If I remember it was not just about paying him. He had a whole laundry list of things he wanted right down to a new office complex for him and his staff. In the end FSU just said, ok just go away so we can start our coaching search.

We are just terrible defending 3rd and 4th downs. Way to many chances for the D to get off the field on that opening drive.

Big game at a critical time in this new program. A win this week makes a decent showing against GA in two weeks acceptable and keeps us on track for a decent finish to the season. A loss this week and then again to GA and the doors might come off the rest of the season. I think a lot of good work has been done to this point and I would hate to see it all evaporate. I have faith the coaching staff will fight tooth and nail to keep the ship upright and on track, but I do worry about some of the frail young minds in the locker room. We need this one Saturday night.
Go Gators!

This storm is pissing me off!!!! I have a brother-in-law Ft Meyers and 2 nieces in Cape Coral. They got hit right in the mouth. Then the darn thing cut across the state pretty much directly to where my mother and sister live in Palm Bay and Melbourne. Now it is heading to the Carolinas where I have cousins, nieces and nephews spread from Myrtle Beach to Wilmington. I mean damn what did we ever do to Ian to become such a target!
So far all are fine and doing well physically. Thank God. One niece and her husband in Cape Coral have a kitchen remodeling business that they have built over the past 20 years. Lots of custom cabinetry, beautiful building with a showroom, offices and a big warehouse and workshop in the back. Building is still standing proud, but they haven't found the roof yet. Complete roof just ripped off and scattered to the wind. Business is a total loss. Guess it could be worse, better the business than their house.

You can bet Napier has been in Stricklin's office pleading the case of "we need to play this game, even if the Swamp is a swamp". At this point the Gators need the reps against a vested opponent. Need to get the young guys some snaps, especially the safeties, and the "W" wouldn't hurt either.

2 big Tenn passes are the difference so far. First one was a gift. Second one we just got beat by a back up wideout playing in place of the suspended starter. 😖

Should have taken the points. 4th and 2 is a tough yardage down in the red zone

Not sure that even if everything is perfect for us on the defensive side of the ball we have enough horses to do much more than slow Tenn down. Richardson and crew need to show up big and put up points if we hope to be anywhere near competative on the scoreboard.
Go Gators!

AR does appear like he feels the weight of the world is on his shoulders. There does not seem to be any joy in his face anymore. Very troublesome. For his sake I hope the ankle rumors are true and he is playing in pain, if not then maybe being the man in a program like Florida is to much for him right now. Here's to hoping he grows into it.

Richardson made great scramble for 1st down slide at the end to avoid contact but still came up limping. Right ankle is hurt for sure. Explains our lack of called qb runs.

Still have faith in Napier and company. But let's talk 2024! Oh I can't even imagine where we would be right now with Mullen and Grantham still running things. We are for sure better off than last year, and have a much better outlook going forward.

We are up 14 but it sure feels we are on edge and SF has all the momentum. Really weird game so far. Sure doesn't feel like we are in charge.

4th and inches own their own 30 and we give up a 51 yard run, not a pass a run. 😖

0-2 so far on defending 3rd and long. Some things never change, camera shows student section doing the money down hand gestures then we give up the first down.
