Don't forget that in a pinch RDB has Montrell Johnson in the wildcat ready and waiting to go.

So, I am not putting any research into who our on field coaches are, but does anyone know if Mark Hocke is one of them? I understand he is really wanting to learn how to do this coaching thing, so it would make sense for him to be out there. Oddly, when I go to the official website of the athletic department, I get a 404 Page Not Found error when I try to look up the football coaching staff. Really don't need the "404 Page Not Found" part, all it needs to say is ERROR.

Yeah, but not only are we going to hire the new guy, but we are going to keep the old guy as well and form a "Special Teams Department". Not sure I can contain my excitement.
"A former placekicker, who played at USC under head coaches Pete Carroll and Lane Kiffin in 2009 and 2010, respectively, Houston will work with the Gators’ special teams units as an analyst, meaning his hiring will not require a space on the team's on-field staff.
Florida special teams analyst Chris Couch, who has been on staff the last two seasons, will also remain with the program and work alongside Houston. Their department will handle special teams and situational football."

If I were the President I would force Scotty to make the offer.
Uh, hello Nick, um, my boss was wondering if you would have any interest in having my job? Me, um, yeah, I am the AD here at Florida, yeah that Scott Stricklin. Uh, ok, sure sleep on it if you want, uh what was that? Oh yeah, I would be happy to call back on Monday, uh yes 10:00 am is fine. Talk to you then. Goodbye.

Oh, its a fact alright, we are killing it in the Walk On market! This TE is all the way from Cali-forn-aye, and he's coming all this way because he wants to, not just because of some relative before him!

Titus Bullard - 6'2" 205 lbs Defensive End
Bullard will join the Gators as a preferred walk-on, electing to align with his father's alma mater over FBS offers from Liberty, Toledo, Buffalo and Georgia Southern.
We probably had to come with our "A" game to get him off that Georgia Southern offer.
Underlines pretty much say it all for me. He may become something in time, but program savior, really?

Supposedly he prefers the NFL to college, it's worth a phone call that will never happen. We could offer him something like Executive Associate Offensive General Manager & Keeper of the Special Teams Secret Word of the week. That’d do the trick! Added a little extra incentive for you.

Is anyone else worried that Real Deal Bill is plodding along, straight ahead, non-wavering, having sold Stricklin on the fact that he knows the secret Saban formula, all at the same time Saban woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and said, well it was a good run while it lasted, but my shit don't work anymore and I'm way to old to change so, I think I'll just go fishing.

This has to be my favorite.....
“Billy is almost maniacal in the way he evaluates things. And so, when fans get frustrated with an area and they want to comment and express their opinion, they don’t ever need to be concerned, ‘Does Billy realize this is a problem?’ Because he’s probably realized it’s a problem before it showed up out there on the field.”
THEN WHY IN THE HELL DID IT SHOW UP ON THE FIELD? After you identify a problem aren't you supposed to fix it? Is that not what coaching is about? Did our AD really just say our HC realizes problems before they make it to game film, but doesn't get a fix in place before the mistakes make it to game film? Really, for real? Did I read that right?
God help Gator football.

For God's sake man, is there no limits on the depth of our losing recruits? PWO's do count as recruits right? linkThis is the kid that broke the news on RBD not planning on making any changes to special teams.

ESPN also reporting the same.
Yeah, we get Kiffin with a chip on his shoulder! Kiffin in FL with a bone to pick with Bama for not even giving him a look could be fun. I'm in, can we start now?

Another similarity is they recruit great, early. Golden has 2 kids committed for next year that are both McDonalds All Americans. Two McDonalds All Americans in the same class is big in a 5 man sport. His fate may be on can he close the deal unlike RDB who saw mass exoduses at signing time.

BREAKING NEWS...
This just in, UF Football officials have just confirmed that the FG unit on, FG unit off debacle resulting in a critical missed FG, was indeed a result of confusion over the Special Teams "GO" word signal, but the confusion was not as much about hearing the signal word but the indecision shown was a result of the raging sideline debate that broke out upon hearing the signal. Per University officials the debate still rages on and the English department has now been called in to help reach resolution. We here at Fighting Gator Forum will leave it up to you, our loyal readers......
Is "SunBelt, Sun Belt" one word or two words, and if it is two words can it be a "GO" word or should future coaching make note and include training for "GO words"?

All sounds to me like RBD is off loading the administrative side of the HC job so he can then look everyone in the eye and say "YES" I have the time to dedicate to my QB's, my Offense and especially my play calling responsibilities! He wants the HC job, but only wants the OC's responsibilities.

And Salukis. Salukis are bad ass. I think that one of our 2 offensive line coaches should hand out stuffed unicorns for good blocks and our new Defensive line coach should hand out miniature Saluki statues for TFL. It's like a turnover chain for a team that doesn't get any turnovers. Offensive TD scorers should all receive either a Graham Mertz or Montrell Johnson bobblehead. Special teams plays should be celebrated with a high five and/or chest bump to an imaginary coach. I hear Desmond was already offered a Saluki statue for meeting his fitness goals and promptly broke it. Oh, wait, it wasn’t a Saluki. He was given a Suzuki bike to get around campus, and it collapsed. They were going to give him a Saluki, but were afraid he would eat it, so they went with the plan B Suzuki.....
